HELPING NEIGHBORS ADVOVATE FOR THEIR HEALTH RIGHTS WITH LOCAL CLINICS

Health is a Human Right. That means the government of Mozambique has a responsibility to provide healthcare services effectively and respectfully to the people of Mozambique. To be respected, rights must be promoted and accountability pursued. ParCo supports 8 collaborators to work in neighborhoods and at health centers to capture complaints from patients and share them with medical officers to make healthcare more effective and people-centered. Along with other CBOs (Community Based Organizations) across Mozambique, we have support from PEPFAR through the Community Grants program of the US Embassy. We are grateful to PEPFAR for their financial support and to Namati for their training and technical assistance.
